Special Electronics & Designs Inc. was established in 1971, by Adolf Eberl and sons Rolf and Peter Eberl. We specialize in the manufacturing of safety and communication equipment. Our design and development specialists have experience with a wide range of products, including analog and digital circuits to circuitry for the integration of off-the-shelf assemblies. For the last 51 years, SED has offered expertise in designing and manufacturing safe and clear communications equipment. From Nuclear Facilities to Confined Space, Fire & Rescue to HAZMAT operations, our systems are trusted in the most challenging and hazardous environments. We are known worldwide for our exceptional communication systems, but did you know that we also manufacture Acoustic Phone Booths, Telephone Extension Ringers and Strobes, Annunciators, Air Supply, and Plastic Suit Components, Combined Air/Communications Hoses, Portable Communication Cable Reels, Magnetic Cleanout Liners, and Training Simulators.
