Company Description

We are a full-service Marine Surveying Company, founded in January 1960. Originally constituted as Marine Underwriters & cargo claim specialists, the company combined with Pinckney Darby Marine Surveyors, in 1974, to become a full service Marine Surveying organization. In September 2003, on the retirement of Mr. Pinckney Darby, the firm was purchased by Richard W. Newsome, a marine surveyor with the company. Newsome now serves as President. He is an Accredited Marine Surveyor® with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors®.
