Company Description

Emitec was founded in 1986 as a subsidiary of Siemens and GKN. Emitec has grown to become a successful global company. Increasing environmental awareness & an early decision by the automotive industry to reduce tailpipe emissions through the use of catalytic converters were two important factors in the rapid development of the new company. Emitec has used metal in all of its developments from the very beginning & quickly became one of the biggest manufacturers of metal substrates in the world.
