The Lloyd's Register Group is an independent risk management organization that provides services to help clients achieve their business goas, while optimizing safety and quality and preserving the enviroment. Our Marine business principally involves classification of ships, which sets standards of quality and reliability during their design, construction and operation. A large proportion of our marine business concerns tankers and bulk carriers, but we are also a world leader in some of the most technologically advanced vessels: cruise and ro-ro ships, LNG carriers and naval vessels.
